Opening Keynote Address
Judith Judson, Commissioner
Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources
Judith Judson was appointed as Commissioner of the Department of Energy Resources in April 2015. Previously, Ms. Judson worked at Customized Energy Solutions as Director of Emerging Technologies for the U.S., advising clients on innovative technologies to cost-effectively modernize the US electric grid. Earlier, Ms. Judson was with the flywheel energy storage company Beacon Power.
Afternoon Keynote Address:
Colette Lamontagne, Director of Internal Innovation
Ms. Lamontagne has an extraordinary depth of expertise in energy storage, smart grid, energy efficiency and demand response, and is a nationally recognized leader in energy storage, serving on the Energy Storage Association Board of Directors from 2010 – 2016. Prior to National Grid, Ms. Lamontagne was a Director at Navigant Consulting, leading multiple projects addressing energy storage.
Stephen Pike, CEO
Massachusetts Clean Energy Center
Stephen Pike is responsible for leading MassCEC’s efforts to build a nation-leading clean energy economy in Massachusetts. Prior to joining MassCEC, Steve practiced corporate law in Boston for nearly 15 years, counseling numerous clean energy companies. Mr. Pike’s legal work focused primarily on commercial transactions, venture capital and private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
